Our client, a Limerick based market-leading US multinational in the technology sector, are now actively recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to lead their HR function here. This is a permanent role in a highly-sought after sector so would be an outstanding opportunity for suitably qualified candidates. The Role : Reporting to the US based VP of HR, this role required an experienced HR professional with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in multinational environment supporting employees in multiple locations, managing recruitment processes, lead the implementation of HR projects & support the finance team regarding payroll. This is a stand-alone HR role in Ireland so the successful candidate will strong, self-motivated be able to work with minimal direct supervision. Duties/Responsibilities : Manage HR function for Limerick & Northern Ireland offices as well as acting as primary HR point of contact for staff in smaller offices across the EMEA region. Work closely with the HR team in the U.S. to implement various HR programs and processes across the region. Administer HR policies and procedures on-site in Limerick. Administer compensation and benefits programs. Assist in the processing of monthly payroll in coordination with the finance team. Manage, maintain & update HR files & employee information. Act as coordinator for training and development programs for staff. Full management of the recruitment processes including dealing with outside vendors, on-boarding new staff, etc. Prepare & distribute communications & HR info to staff on a regular basis. Skills/Experience needed : 3rd level degree in HR or a similar discipline. 5+ years’ experience as a HR Manager or senior HR Generalist/BP in a multinational environment. Strong knowledge of Irish HR regulations & legislation. Knowledge of UK HR regulations & legislation would be a significant advantage. Strong IT skills. Excellent inter-personal skills & ability to build relationships with colleagues in multiple locations. Experience is assisting payroll would be an advantage.
