Purpose of the Role: To plan, conduct and direct clean utilities engineering projects or studies including complete projects requiring advanced knowledge of a specialized field. Applies comprehensive and diverse knowledge of engineering principles and practices within broad assignment areas. Responsibilities: Responsible for all mechanical utility systems, clean utilities, projects, validation and on site coordination of activities and contractors in a regulated environment. Management of the maintenance system, clean utilities and procedures and associated improvement projects. Provides technical engineering support to Water room and Facility technicians. Work with team leader to develop and implement strategic facilities engineering Goals & Objectives. Support the implementation of all facilities engineering and plant strategic initiatives. Ensure effective closure on Quality System documents (Audit Actions, NCR’s, CAPA’s, CAIAs, etc) on utilities and facilities systems under their control. Ensure all maintenance, process developments, change control and system improvements are managed in accordance with the Quality management system. Actively interfacing with cross-functional team members, always practicing good team work in support of day to day operating requirements. Project Management - provide timely and accurate reporting on project activities. Actively participate in cross-functional teams to provide facilities support on New Product Introduction/Research and Development projects. Identify and lead cost and technical improvements under the departments’ continuous improvement program. Qualifications: Minimum of degree qualification in relevant engineering discipline. Clean Utilities experience is essential. 3-4 years experience in a similar role. Ability to demonstrate good project management and communication skills. Strong analytical approach to problem solving and brings innovative solutions to equipment/issues.
