A client of mine which are amanufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded cider, beer, wine, soft drinks and bottled water are currently seeking an experienced Master Brewer. ALL potential candidates MUST: ** Hold a valid EU work permit. ** Be a qualified Master Brewer. Key Responsibilities: Main contact for the Brewery bringing unique craft brewing knowledge and experience that will generate an interest in our craft beers. Work closely with new product development team to develop beer products in alignment with innovation and commercial strategies and for 3rd party customers. Develop close relationships with key customers and trade associations (eg Craft brewers. Management of the daily operations in the Craft Brewery, including responsibility for all aspects of Health & Safety, Quality and Production and ensure compliance to legislation, KPI’s and standards. Managing key production requirements across the brewery including Planning, Raw material intake, brew-house, fermentation and filtration, and ensuring daily, weekly and monthly production targets are achieved. Co-ordinates preventative maintenance and annual overhauls of key Brewing kit; (Filters, centrifuges, annual brewhouse overhaul in order to ensure equipment is operating to required standards. Lead a small multi-skilled team and develop their knowledge and experience such that they can independently run and maintain the brewery, achieving excellence in all aspects of craft beer production. Advise and prioritise on CAPEX projects within the Brewing Area to ensure project are completed on time and within budget. Ensure there is a comprehensive program of continuous improvement in place to improve quality, performance, efficiency and reduce cost. Key Performance Indicators: Performance KPI’s reported weekly, monthly, annually. Deliver new product pipeline at the right quality on time. Consumer Feedback. Deliver site SKU Introduction plan on time. Skills & Experience: Qualified Master Brewer. At least 3 years experience in craft brewing. Able to demonstrate previous success in craft brewing to date. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Computer literate. Excellent Project management skills. Ability to work cross functionally and influence groups. Continuous improvement focus.
