Our client, a leading provider of IT solutions, is currently seeking a Service Desk Despatch/Technical Coordinator to join their team. The role would ideally suit someone with previous call centre experience. The role: Answer incoming call requests and email requests to the Service Desk. Collection, verification as well as the requirement to update all relevant client information via our support system. Acknowledge, Triage, Categorize and Prioritize all inbound service requests according to ITIL framework best practices. Informational follow-up with clients and engineers on in progress requests. The coordination of technical resources and their assigned service tickets as well as the SLA’s attached thereto. You will act as a single point of contact for the company's clients. Requirements: Excellent communication skills fundamental with fluent spoken and written English. Strong Customer Service Standard Essential. The ability to work on own initiative is essential. Must have experience in an ICT Support / Call centre environment. This is is essential. You must be team player and be able to work in a high paced and pressured environment. Ability to communicate direct and virtually with specific internal teams. The ability to follow instruction diligently. The ability to draft formal and informal reports daily, weekly on SLA / Progress status.
