A leading Pharmaceutical company based in the South East, is currently seeking an experienced QA Team Lead to join their site. This role will provide great opportunities within the company and will involve supporting the QA team and site. Role: The Quality Assurance Team Leader - has a primary role in (1) assuring that products are manufactured and released in accordance with relevant cGMPs and (2) leading the QA team to achieve the above in an inclusive team based environment (3) support the management of the site Pharmaceutical Quality System. Accountabilities: Provide quality expertise and support to the QA team and site. Implement and maintain compliant Pharmaceutical Quality System. Lead a team of Quality Assurance specialists to optimum performance, while maintaining a positive team environment. Manage performance of Team Members and overall team on an on-going basis. Provide and encourage clear open communications with the QA team and site. Effective and co-operative interaction with all departments on matters related to Quality. Ensure compliance to the Pharmaceutical Quality System is maintained and its effectiveness monitored. Delivery of assigned projects on plan. Qualifications Degree in Science or related area (Chemistry, Microbiology or Pharmacy preferred. Qualified Person qualification desirable but not essential. Experience: 3 - 5 years experience working in a Healthcare manufacturing environment - ideally most of which would be in the pharmaceutical sector. Experience of managing / coordinating teams would be considered an advantage. Experience of aseptic manufacturing processes would be considered an advantage. Previous experience managing and leading teams would be considered an advantage.
