Our client, an award winning manufacturing company are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team. The Role: Clear evidence of a completely embedded Quality culture. Works collaboratively with all Stakeholders and holds SLT members to account for quality standards. Seen as an authority on all aspects of Quality and Food Safety. Accreditation of all required Quality and Food Safety standards. Robust monitoring and reporting system to enable the achievement of required results and decisions to be made. Uses customer and consumer knowledge to enlighten QA approach within the site. Manage the approval of new vendors and the validation of all new systems, processes and procedures. Clear methodology, tools and techniques to investigate quality results to drive continuous improvement. Leading the performance , coaching and development of the Quality Team. Drive quality standards in a complex environment comprising multiple liquid types and packaging varieties. The Person: Degree/Masters in Science/Quality / relevant similar discipline. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development. At least 10 years experience and a minimum of 5 within the food / drink industry. Good working knowledge of manufacturing and drinks packaging industry Quality “best practice”. Strong Communication skills and Stakeholder Management skills. A high level of commercial and business awareness. Demonstrable track record of leading and delivering high-level performance through excellent people management in an operational shift environment. Experience of using trending, root cause analysis and problem-solving tools to continuously-improve performance.
