My client a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Co. Tipperary requires a Maintenance Technician on a full-time permanent basis. The sucessfull candidate will be a qualified electrician and duties will include but not limited to : Closely monitor line and machine performance to identify issues that impact OEE. Identify and implement solutions to improve line performance. Routinely identify and carry out continuous improvement tasks. Active involvement in projects, e.g. cross functional teams to achieve WCM standards, safety projects, quality projects etc. Provide technical support to Maintenance Stores. Liaise with equipment suppliers as required. Train and mentor Operators in upskilling (i.e. changeovers, running adjustments, top 10 faults etc.) and coach/train other team members. Document and report all maintenance activities as required. Update the CMMS, record all changes, stores transactions made and work carried out. Manage allocated projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure accurate and effective communication within team and between maintenance and operations. Co-ordinate and manage day-to-day activities and changeovers. Keep clean any areas in which you are working, including any transit areas to and from the workshop and including the workshop and stores. Able to work on own initiative. Requirements: Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification. Working experience in a maintenance environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. Pro-active enthusiastic self starter. Analytical and problem-solving ability. Flexible approach to work with shift work involved.
