Van Sales Representative – Munster/The West. Working with an expanding snack foods company who are looking to recruit an FMCG Van Sale Rep for the Munster/West region due to business growth. Duties include: Selling their products from van stock to New and Existing customers in target area. Achieve all assigned sales targets. Identify new account opportunities and proactively cold call on target accounts to achieve new business within your area. Maintain maximum customer service is displayed at all times. Ensure products are correctly merchandised on Company owned stands according to planogram in multiple and convenience store accounts. Achieve listings for new products in all accounts and for existing products in new accounts. Communicate regularly to the Field Sales Manager - Ireland providing timely updates and highlighting opportunities. Negotiate stand positioning, set up new stands and ensure that all products are scanned and priced on stand. Replenish stands with stock held in storerooms within multiples and convenience stores. Suggest re-orders for out of stock or low stock lines within multiples. Maximise sales during promotional periods. Adhere to agreed journey plan that will include all accounts within the jurisdiction. Return van sales dockets and report sheets to head office on a daily basis. Collect cash from cash on delivery (COD) accounts. Work to ensure that all cash sale accounts pay within the agreed terms. Carry out regular stock takes and order and collect stock from depot as required. Any other duties as required to fulfil the Company needs. Skills/Qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years proven Van Sales experience within the FMCG marketplace. Proven track record of identifying and developing new business opportunities. Previous in-store Merchandising experience in FMCG environment. Ability to travel throughout Ireland with a flexible approach to working hours as overnights will be required. Hold a full, valid, clean driving license which covers Van driving. Excellent package on offer + bonus, lunch allowance, company mobile phone and van.
