Our client, a leading Waterford based manufacturing company currently has a vacancy for a Senior Medical Device Engineer (R&D) . This is an opportunity to join a regulated manufacturing company in a challenging and rewarding role with excellent opportunities for personal development. You will manage and facilitate the development, verification, validation and generation of new and existing projects. The Role. Innovation and product life cycle management. Manage the generation of 3D designs and 2D detailed designs. Generate new intellectual property. Complete tolerance analysis, where necessary. Perform risk analysis. Advise on key design issues and tooling activities. Guide and mentor Engineers. Transfer designs to manufacture. The Person. Primary degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline. Minimum 5 years+ experience in the development of respiratory products. Effective application of 21 CFR Part 4 combination products. Good knowledge of regulatory standards in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Engineering Design techniques. Technical Report Writing. Problem Solving.
