Project Engineer – MES Solutions. Abbeyfeale, Co Limerick (+ International travel. €Excellent DOE. Our client specialises in developing innovative electronic, electromechanical and mechatronic products for the automotive industry. They are now looking for a Project Engineer to join their team based in Abbeyfeale. This is the ideal role for an engineer from a high volume manufacturing environment with project management experience to advance their career and work with some exceptional solutions and a global portfolio of customers. As a Project Engineer, you will be tasked with project managing an MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) programme and co-ordinating multiple production environments to meet project objectives. You will be accountable for providing engineering input into a number of projects, you will work across the entire project lifecycle, planning, developing and controlling projects as they are executed. Representing the engineering position during requirements generation, you will also manage, review and approve communications between the internal customer team, subject matter experts and external partners. You’ll work closely with other departments and will provide leadership to cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will review and optimise MES solutions and implement new ways of working on production lines across the world. As part of your role, you will be required to undertake international travel to customers’ sites. Interested? To be considered, you must have: - At least one year’s engineering experience gained within a high volume manufacturing environment. - Project management experience. - A degree (or equivalent) in business or engineering (Level 8 on NFQ. Analytical and organised, as a Project Engineer, you must also possess excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. The ability to plan and implement tasks effectively is key, as is a close attention to detail. MES knowledge would be beneficial to your application.
