This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to take a step into a leadership role at a leading Pharma site in Munster. You’ll be leading a small team to manage and deliver numerous projects on the site. This is a permanent role with an attractive salary and benefits package on offer. Reporting to the Site Engineering Lead, the Site Projects Lead leads the Site Project Function, manages a portfolio of site projects, manages the Site Facilities Master Plan and supports engineering system ownership. Principal Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of the site project portfolio to ensure projects are chartered, scoped and executed in a timely manner to meet customer requirements. Ensure capital projects are executed in a timely, safe and cost effective manner, meeting customer and compliance requirements. Supervision of NMP Project Engineers, Project Technical Assistants and other A&E Resources in the management of capital & expense projects, ensuring compliance with financial, safety, environmental, GMP requirements and corporate engineering standards & expectations. Ensure there is strong safety & contractor management in the execution of engineering projects. Provides safety, environmental, GMP, training to on-site contract personnel and organises supervision of these personnel in the execution of Projects. Ensure that robust management of change is applied through site equipment change control & IQ/OQ/IC/OC systems. Ensure Major Accident Prevention measures are addressed where applicable. Support the development & updates to the site Facilities Master Plan. Qualifications. Honours Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification. Broad multi-functional experience. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management. Recognised qualification in project management desirable. Extensive knowledge of safety legislation, specifically the construction regulations. Process and Equipment design in Pharmaceutical Industry. Sound understanding of API & OSD Unit Operations. Process, equipment, cleaning Validation. Environmental policies and procedures. Safety policies and procedures. Training policies and procedures. Quality policies and procedures. Strong knowledge of GMP regulations. Project engineering procedures.
