Purpose of the role: The Maintenance Planner is responsible for assisting with the planning and scheduling of all planned and unplanned maintenance work required.Responsibilities of the role: Reduce cost and increase efficiency in the Maintenance and Production departments . Organising the work of the maintenance team. Scheduling their preventative maintenance and breakdown work. Generating weekly/monthly KPI reports and controlling and monitoring the cost of spares etc. Liaising with outside contractors on bigger projects when tying up with on-site staff. Review and update procedures and update maintenance schedules. Experience required: 3-4 years or more in a similar role. Strong preventative maintenance experience. Experience working within a food /drinks industry. Engineering or Fitter background.
