PE Global are currently recruiting for a permanent Maintenance Engineer with knowledge and experience of Environmental Health & Safety. This is for one of our clients in Tipperary. Purpose of the role: The maintenance engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing the heavy machinery, plant equipment, tools and systems used in manufacturing, engineering and other industrial production processes. Responsibilities of the role: Working with technicians and other functions to develop an effective Maintenance program to ensure designated site equipment operate safe and reliable. Optimise work tasks, ensure spare parts, tools or other services are available when required. Build systems and coordinate data and share this with quality and H&S functions. Ensuring compliance to all regulatory GMP, Safety and Environmental requirements. Education and experience required: Level 7 Maintenance / Engineering qualification or equivalent. 4 years’ experience in a relevant role. Experience working within a food /drinks or pharma manufacturing facility is desirable. Experience of maintenance optimisation techniques. Working knowledge of CMMS systems.
