This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior R&D Engineer to join a regulated manufacturing company based in Tipperary. The roleAs a Senior R&D Engineer you willconduct development work as part of a major research and/or development project. You will also be responsible for designing, defining and implementing system requirements for complex customer systems and/or preparing studies and analysing existing systems. You will also interface with key opinion leaders in the industry to define market need, conceive plans and conduct investigations that substantially influence company strategies or core technologies. In addition to this you will manage multiple projects, manage budgets and strive continuously to ensure that the latest technology is considered for facilities. The person Degree in a relevant engineering discipline. 5+ years' of related professional engineering experience. Direct experience in validation / qualification. Strong experience in process development, coordinating technical transfers and the scale up of products from R&D into the manufacturing facility. Strong experience in coordinating projects such as scale-ups, second sourcing, NPI and launches. Good problem solving skills including the ability to look at a manufacturing line from end to end to understand the impact of a particular product on each piece of equipment and identify solutions to any identified issues.
