Position: HEAD CHEF at The Clonakilty Hotel and The Copper Pot Restaurant & Bar. We are seeking a Head Chef for our busy hotel in West Cork. With The Copper Pot Restaurant & Bar, The Cedarwood Restaurant and Function facilities, the Head Chef is responsible for producing excellent food, a passion for using fresh local produce and the daily running of the kitchen. Our Copper Pot Restaurant will be expanding later this year with a unique dining experience, and this will be the opportunity for our new Head chef to prepare and plan for this event. The candidate: Creativity and willingness to try new dishes is desired. A passion for working with local fresh produce. Culinary qualification. People management, leaderships and training skills. Must be an excellent communicator both written and spoken. Financially proficient to complete menu planning / costs, stock control etc. Ability to operate a multi function operation between bar, restaurant and banqueting facilities. HACCP trained.
