Operations Manager (Food & Beverages Manufacture) – Tipperary. Building on this success the company has retained Brightwater Specialist Recruitment to recruit an experienced Operations Manager with back ground in food & beverages manufacture . The Role; Implement and develop a process for the Inventory Management, planning and stock control of all NABs including the Aldi contract product both on site and off site locations. - Introduce and manage the inbound product schedule to ensure all stakeholders are co-ordinated. - Manage end to end processes from production, off-site storage and customer delivery including identifying and implementing efficiencies with the warehouse operative team. - Monitor and communicate stock holding of relevant SKU’s to ensure order fulfilment across all markets. - Review weekly forecasts and production plans for all product and liaise with all relevant stakeholders to ensure product is planned and located in line with customer / depot / site requirements. - Manage the movement and replenishment of stock between all internal and external locations, including external suppliers. - Budgeting - Contribute to the delivery of operational budgets including the forecasting of products to feed into the site budget. - Works collaboratively with all Stakeholders and participate in Depot and Site Management initiatives. - Clear methodology, tools and techniques to investigate quality results to drive continuous improvement. - Quality, Health & Safety, Hygiene/Food Safety, and Environmental: - Manage and improve all aspects of the above areas associated with the depot operation, in line with company standards, best practice and current Health and Safety Legislation and quality standards. - Leadership and Performance Management: - Lead, manage and develop the operational teams to create an open, responsive and cohesive working environment. Manage the performance of the team through individual performance objectives and personal development plans to achieve the area strategy. Have creditable back fills in place to ensure team development. You; - Evidence strong leadership skills in managing people. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels, ensuring information is delivered and understood. - Ability of driving change, through positive communication, employee involvement and forward planning. - Ability to drive and build strong levels of employee engagement. - Developing staff through continuous development, coaching and empowerment to create improved performance. - Ability to deliver under pressure and flexibility within time management to ensure business needs are met. - Able to take the initiative and push projects forward; solutions focused. - Able to challenge at all levels, using appropriate manner and behaviour to encourage positive change. - Disciplined approach to organisation, administration and project management. - Have a strong commercial and business awareness and the ability to influence and engage all stakeholders. - Good problem solving and analytical skills. - Resolution of operational issues.
