The Role: Lead a skilled production team, creating the conditions where results are achieved by motivated personnel in an environment of high morale, mutual respect driven by a focus on the customer. Creating a strong culture of SGA Lean Six Sigma will be a primary focus of this exciting and challenging role. Meet and exceed customer specifications and expectations. Manage Time & Attendance. Work on a rotational shift basis so flexibility in this regard is expected. Ensuring that factory GMP is the most modern in the industry and is audit-ready at all times. Maintaining the cross-training plan for operations personnel to meet customer and compliance audit requirements. Support the introduction of new process technology/equipment and completing the requisite training. Facilitate the Maintenance Manager in implementing preventative maintenance in order to reduce downtime. The Person Minimum 3rd level Degree in Manufacturing/Engineering/Science. A minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant industry experience with previous experience in the Dairy Industry an advantage. Experience in a regulated production environment / accustomed to audits, compliance and timelines will be key. Experience in LEAN Six Sigma.
