Administrator - Logistics. Our client is looking to recruit a full-time Logistics Administrator for their well-established business. This is an excellent opportunity to join their team in South Tipperary. Duties: Complete all order processing following confirmation of order by customer. Arrange freight and delivery of product to customer, where appropriate. Verify whether product being delivered is hazardous and, if so, make the necessary arrangements for the handling of hazardous product. Verify that the timing of deliveries meets the customer requirements and notify customers of their deliveries. Prepare the purchase orders and order confirmations for signing by the appropriate personnel. Note any special customer delivery requirements on the order confirmation. Ensure that all deliveries are accompanied by appropriate documentation. Produce Own Brand labels or other specific labels and forward instructions for their application to third party. Prepare Certificates of Analysis in the event of Own Brand products. Organise repacking of products on request. Arrange Inspections of Goods Overseas (IGLO) when required. Maintain the Customer Order database. Ensure that any revised SDS's are sent to relevant customers/warehouses and keep record of the same. Arrange SDS authoring according to CLP Regulations when requested. Update Vendor History Forms as issues arise. Ensure that all Non-conformances/Customer complaints are properly investigated, recorded on the Customer Complaints Log and Customer Complaint Form and that any outstanding complaints/non-conformances are closed off as soon as possible. Assist in carrying out internal audits. Take active part in a working party if requested. Ensure all are aware of their individual responsibilities for the health and safety of themselves, their colleagues, customers and all other persons who may be affected by their activities at work. Carry out any other duties as required by the Logistics Manager. Candidate Requirements: Strong numeracy, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills. Good organisational skills. Basic knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, e.g. CLP, GTDP etc. Hazardous Chemical (ADR/IATA) trained. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
