Our client, a leading US multinational in the medical devices services sector, are now actively recruiting for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant/Manager to join their expanding Limerick based EMEA shared services centre.JO-1705-353933. Job Description : This is a permanent role & is an ideal opportunity for a tax qualified accounting/finance professional looking to take the next step in their career & join a truly world class operation. The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing EMEA tax affairs including transfer pricing, VAT, compliance, supporting internal & external audits, etc. all in a fast paced, hands-on team environment. Job Duties : • Assist & support the tax process for both international & local matters. • Assist in due diligence & integration duties. • Support & lead projects. • Manage transfer pricing requirements & processes. • Assisting the wider tax group in audit & regulatory compliance. • Provide detailed advice pertaining to tax consequences to colleagues across diverse business units. • Preparation of regular reports for team & senior managers. • Other associated tax & finance duties as requested. Skills/Experience Required : • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA ideally) and/or AITI/CTA Qualified. • 4+ years tax experience with ideally a Big 4, Top 10 or multinational background. • Proven experience in tax provision, supporting audits & M&A duties. • Strong technical tax knowledge along with analytical skills. • High-level project management skills & ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the organisation. • Excellent IT skills – exposure to SAP or a similar ERP system would be a significant advantage.
