Working with the LotusWorks team as a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and managing an equipment maintenance/reliability program that supports the business. The Maintenance Engineer will have strong technical knowledge of equipment design and maintenance within the API business. Responsibilities: Work with Site Maintenance Managers, Planners and API Maintenance Lead on execution of the site maintenance program. Deliver compliant, reliable and efficient operation of all plant and equipment. Support the Reliability Engineer in the execution of Reliability Centered Maintenance initiatives. Develop and lead a Root Cause Failure Analysis Program to reduce general equipment breakdowns and support maintenance personnel to conduct real time Root Cause Analysis. Work with the Reliability Engineer & Planning to establish and use reliability & work planning metrics/KPI`s to monitor improvement and resource optimization e.g. PM/CM ratio, schedule adherence, etc. Support the IPT`s by providing technical support on equipment and reliability issues. In particular lead/support the investigation of equipment related deviations/incident reports where equipment maintenance is identified as a probable root cause. Liaise with equipment vendors to establish appropriate preventive/predictive maintenance schedules and assist M&I planning with job plan updating. Review job plans for all equipment for maintenance execution optimization and ensure site compliance with GMP, Safety and Environmental requirements. Lead IPT and site wide maintenance projects and programs e.g. MRO cost reduction program. Support GMP, Safety and Environmental internal and external audits as required. Support capital and expense projects where required from a maintenance perspective. Support the Maintenance dept. in the planning, coordination and execution of the. Maintenance Shutdowns. Ensure OOTs are effectively root caused and closed out and support the development of the equipment annual review. Identify and lead/support the maintenance best practice methodologies/technologies. Qualifications. A 3rd level qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline or demonstrated equivalent maintenance experience. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance environment, preferably in a Manufacturing GMP environment. Good understanding of World Class Maintenance practices and expectations. Knowledge of maintenance systems and work practices for both electrical and mechanical crafts. Knowledge and experience of CMMS systems is essential. Good understanding of equipment reliability techniques such as RCM, FMECA & Root Cause Failure Analysis. Knowledge of Irish, European and International Codes, Standards and Practices. Knowledge and understanding of Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology. Leadership, communication, decision making and problem solving skills with a proven track record for collaborating and working well within a team. Benefits. Life Assurance. Pension Contribution.
