Matrix Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for an Industrial Engineer II to be based in the Tipperary region . This is a permanent job. As the Industrial Engineer you will be responsible for developing and implementing process improvement through the use of lean tools and systems into the organisation. You will have direct influence in site Operational Excellence strategy and the results of the production units. Key Duties. Analyzes, creates and implements manufacturing and/or business process improvements. Completes capacity analyzes internally and/or at suppliers for headcount, equipment and space requirements. Designs, implements and maintains effective metrics with internal customers or suppliers. Participates in cross-functional teams to quickly troubleshoot and eliminate product supply issues. Makes recommendations which drive higher yielding, lower cost, more manufacturable products. Convinces internal customer or suppliers to make fundamental changes to their manufacturing and/or business processes. Develops and coordinates ergonomic projects. Candidate Experience: 3rd level degree in an engineering discipline (Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing. 5 -7 yrs. experience working in a high volume production environment. Continuous Improvement experience– green belt, Black belt etc. Project Management experience. Excellent Influencing skills. Experience Coaching and Supporting Team members.
