The Role Manage and ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget. Manage all day to day activities within production. Oversee the planning, supervision, coordination, analysis and reporting of all production activities. Ensure all operational performance measures are reached which include productivity, efficiency, on time delivery, quality and safety. Analyse, prepare and present reports on productivity, efficiency, quality and safety. Support site business strategies. Implement cost reduction strategies. Identifying facility and equipment need, monitor any technological changes in industry to ensure company maintains cutting edge productivity. Manage the day to day requirements of the Production Schedule and communicate changes effectively and efficiently. Lead and manage performance through coaching, mentoring, relationship building with direct reports, and extended team. Drive employee engagement. Enforces safety rules and regulations designed to create and maintain a safe working environment. The Person 3 rd Level Qualification in Science or related discipline. A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably plastics or healthcare industry. Strong understanding of both GMP and safety regulations. Strong Lean and Continuous Improvement experience. Strong organisational, leadership and interpersonal skills. Customer focussed, motivated, enthusiastic, self-directed & results driven leader. Strong problem solving skills. Strong knowledge of Quality, safety regulations, manufacturing and process automation.
