Operations Manager (Residential Home: Limerick City. Key 2 Recruitment has been retained by a small residential home in Limerick City to recruit an operations manager. The role will be a full time role with working hours 9 to 5 Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities. PURPOSE OF POST: Responsibility for the general management of the residential supported living facilities. The management and co-ordination of agreed services and activities within the facility and to be responsible for a team of circa 12 people. To fully support the facility by identifying service needs and by initiating and managing relationships and communicating with external bodies. Ensure the comfort and safety of residents and the provision of assistance to all residents as needed. Maintain an environment that facilitates independence, individuality and dignity. Ordering supplies and services in line with resident requirements and budgets. Maintain efficient administrative systems and records as appropriate. Deal with correspondence and other clerical and administrative duties as required. Adhering to HACCP and HSE standards. Manage the budgets, ensuring that all resources are used cost effectively within specified guidelines. Drawing up staff rotas. PERSON SPECIFICATION. Fetac Level 5 Healthcare is desirable. Excellent communication skills. Empathy and compassion. Patience and understanding. Proven managerial track record.
