Maintenance Engineering Lead DMG54266. Eden Recruitment is working with an established Food Company based in the Mid West, who are expanding their Engineering/Maintenance Department. We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer/Team Lead who will manage the maintenance team on site. This role will attract Degree Qualified Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, with 4 years plus experience within a Food Production/Pharma environment. The Role. Reporting to the Site Manager, the role will be responsible for. All aspects of the day to day maintenance within a busy production facility. Manage the Maintenance Team both inhouse and Contractors. Implement new CMMS system. Ensure all maintenance team adhere to Health & Safety regulations and best practice. Work cross functionally with other departments on new capital projects. Ideal Candidate: Degree Qualified (Mechanical or Electrical. 4 years plus maintenance experience within Food/Pharma Manufacturing. People management/ Supervisory experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of CMMS. Previous experience in projects, managing 3rd party contractors and liasing with key stakeholders. Ability to understand a manufacturing process, analyse the inputs and outputs of the process and be able to draw up plans to continually improve performance, both in efficiency and quality. Good analytical problem-solving approach and numerical capability. Good written and verbal communication skills. This is an immediate role and will attract candidates who have the requirements as listed and want to develop their career towards an Engineering or Maintenance Manager level.
