Are you an experienced Financial Controller looking for your next career move? A leading manufacturing company in Waterford is looking for an experienced Financial Site Controller to join their team. Working closely with the site leadership team you will provide financial insight, strategic guidance and leadership to improve site business performance. The role. As the Financial Site Controller you will: Produce management reports for key stakeholders. Deliver the site objectives of having sound financial management and control. Provide financial insights to the site leadership team to ensure that short and long-term business decisions are based on strong financial reasoning. Provide financial support to assist the achievement of site low cost manufacturing objectives. Develop management information systems and provide accurate and timely product costing, management accounting and capital evaluation information. Enhance site cost competitiveness by exploring, analysing, facilitating and leveraging efficiency initiatives and lead continuous improvement in finance processes. You will be an influential member of the Site Leadership Team who impacts decision making and takes an active role in promoting cross-site initiatives, team work and collaboration across site functions. In addition to this you will lead, develop and motivate the Site Finance Team. The person. 4 year University Business Degree or equivalent - a key requirement; (having an Accountancy Qualification or Maters Qualification is seen as an advantage. At least 5 years’ post qualification experience in a relevant senior financial position within a large manufacturing company, ideally multi-national. Previous Project Management Experience. Extensive experience of SAP or other integrated manufacturing package. Experience working in a standard cost environment (SAS ABM experience will be a clear advantage. Does this sound like you?
