Job title: Junior HR Administrator. Location: Thurles, Co. Tipperary. Purpose of the Role: Reporting to the HR Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic HR Administrator to gain a broad range of experience in a growing organisation. The successful candidate will provide best in class HR administrative support, advice and guidance to the business. Main Responsibilities: Rostering and Scheduling. Full responsibility for the weekly rostering and scheduling of all flexi employees (approx. 150 employees) for a 24/7 operation. This is a demanding yet fulfilling responsibility with operations relying on the ability of the HR Administrator to complete the daily and weekly rosters. Fully responsible for ensuring all production lines are manned with the relevant key skills and general operator man power requirements. HR and Time and Attendance System (TMS. Acting as the main point of contact for all staff remuneration and benefit issues. Administering all master payroll data contained on the TMS system and keeping it up to date including salary information and details on starters, leavers and contract amendments. Recruitment and Selection. Co-ordinating successful recruitment of new staff. This includes advertising new posts, screening CV's, organising interviews, checking references, organising medicals, issuing contracts to new staff, setting up new starts on the TMS system and databases. Employee Relations. Acting as a point of contact on all employee relations issues. Assisting with promoting adherence to all relevant employment legislation and company policies and practices. HR Administration. Ongoing administration and support of the Absence Management programme. Maintaining the rating system for the Performance Management Programme. Person Specification. 2 years' experience working in a busy HR Department. An energetic individual with the capacity to manage multiple activities and priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver a professional HR service. Excellent Computer Literacy with a reliance on excel capability. Ability to Prioritise and Multi task. Self-motivated and self-driven, enjoy working as part of a small team. Excellent attention to detail essential. Ability to work on own initiative. Integrity - confidentiality is paramount. HR Qualification (Cert, Diploma, Degree) desirable. CIPD Qualified. In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of employment law in Ireland. To apply for this.
