Our client a well established company in Waterford are looking for a diesel Mechanic/Fitter to join their team.

The ideal candidate:

• Will have strong mechanical aptitude

• Will have 5 years plus experience in working within diesel mechanics

• People with no technical qualifications but strong experience will be considered

• The ideal environment experience will be from Heavy machinery environments-quarry/marine/mining etc

• Strong problem solving and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work in a time critical environment and under pressure.

• Must be with 40 minutes of Waterford city

The role involves:

• Working to your own initiative

• There is some on-call work required with this role

• The role is a mainly Monday-Friday role.

• Working with a variety of Machinery and problem solving any issues.

• Commercial engine experience is essential
