Matrix Recruitment Group are recruiting for an HR BUSINESS PARTNER, for our multinational Client based in Co. Cork. This is a 12-month CONTRACT, and you will report to the HR Lead.

You will provide effective day to day HR support on a variety of topics:- engagement & culture change, talent development, succession planning, performance management, retention, compensation/rewards, and organisational design.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Supporting the development of line managers' knowledge, skills and leadership effectiveness through coaching
• Works with business leaders to champion a high-performance culture and to create an environment of trust, dignity and respect, where behaviours are aligned to the Company values
• Develop business understanding with an ability to link global and Ireland HR strategic goals to site/departmental business strategy
• Work with client leaders to support delivery of their people strategy
• Facilitate talent management and succession planning across your client groups, aligned to global processes
• Effectively coach managers through handling of complex employee relations and industrial relations issues

• Degree or 3rd level qualification (Business, Human Resources)
• CIPD Qualification
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
• Desirable: Six Sigma Yellow Belt
• Experience working in a large multinational environment, ideally with experience in the pharmaceutical and/or chemical manufacturing sector
• Preferable: At least three years’ experience as a HRBP
• Preferable: at least one years’ experience of working as a HRBP in a unionised environment
