Are you a qualified or part qualified Accountant looking for your next contract role? This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading company in Kilkenny for a 6 month contract as an Assistant Financial Accountant.

As an Assistant Financial Accountant you will be working as part of the Finance Team and will report into the Finance Manager. Working closely with key stakeholders in the company you will be taking ownership of two key tasks:

• The preparation and submittion of grant claim applications (obtaining supporting documentation, building audit files, communicating status of claims, managing site visits and resolvng any queries)
• The review and clearing of the GR/IR Account

You will also perform other ad hoc requests as required by the Finance Team

• Professional accountancy qualification or part qualified with good double entry accounting knowledge backed up by relevant experience
• Ideally you will have some industry experience (manufacturing experience is preferred)
• SAP knowledge a distinct advantage
• Good Microsoft Excel skills are essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• Be able to work to deadlines and prioritise work
