Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for your next career move? A leading agricultural company in Kilkenny is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team.

Working closely with the sales team you will manage the credit control process and drive peformance improvement.

Ideally you will have a credit control background but this role might also suit an Accounts Assistant with credit control experience.

As a Credit Controller you will work to ensure customers pay within their agreed payment terms, chasing payments if necessary. This will include:

• Monitoring orders periodically during the day
• Ensuring all discounts are within approved limits
• Liaising with the solicitor and debt collection agency regarding non payments
• Effectively dealing with customer account queries / complaints, including liaising with sales department, to ensure they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion
• Dealing with new accounts
• Ensuring satisfactory credit references are obtained
• Working to improve the credit control process

You will also be responsible for keeping the Company Directors abreast of all important developments / problems and reporting on the status of customer accounts on a regular basis.

• 3+ years' credit control experience or general accounts experience with credit control
• Good IT and numerical skills
• Ability to build relationships and work as part of a team
• The ability to drive performance improvement and implement change
• Previous experience in the agri sector is desirable but not essential
