Job title: CNC Operator / Lathe Machinist. Location: North Tipperary. Type of job: full time, permanent. A well established and well known company in North Tipperary has an opening for an experienced Lathe Machine operator / Toolmaker / CNC Operator. Company specilising in metal fabrication. Job Description: Produces machined parts by setting up and operating a Lathe machine / CNC machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. No programming experience necessary for this role. Main Requirements: * Qualified toolmaker qualifications prefered. * 3-5 years of prior experience in a metal production or ob shop environment. Aerospace experience a plus. * Hands on experience with operation of older type of Lathe machines and other workshop equipment. * Ability to read and work from blue prints along with extensive knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. * Candidates must have a strong attention to detail, workmanship and product quality with the ability to work independently and/or in a team environment. * Strong work ethic with ability and eagerness to learn.
