Are you an experienced Buyer / Purchaser looking for your next career move? Due to increased demand a leading building services company based in Waterford is looking for an experienced Buyer / Purchaser to join their team. As a Buyer / Purchaser you will manage the day to day operational procurement activities and take responsibility for the company quality system. You will establish supplier relationships, neogtiate contracts and monitor deliveries. The role. Researching and evaluating potential vendors and suppliers. Requesting quotes and comparing prices for maximum ROI. Estimating and establishing cost parameters and budgets for purchases. Negotiating appropriate contracts for pricing and supply. Reviewing products and supplies to ensure quality. Work with team members, supervisors, and purchasing manager to develop future purchasing plans and source potential relationships with vendors. Analyse potential vendors and suppliers for future project needs. Ensuring the smooth running of the ISO system and managing audits. The person. 3rd level qualification business administration, management, finance or related field. 2+ years' experience in a similar position. Ablility to negotiate, establish and process contracts.
