An opportunity for an M&E Coordinator to work with an Irish construction company in Tipperary. Roles and responsibilities: A brief over view of what the job would entail is listed below. However, this is only an indicative list of responsibilities. Coordinate mechanical and electrical services. Ensure effective implementation of “right first time” technical delivery of project output. Review and report on activities of M+E sub-contractors in relation to technical, programme, build ability and commercial areas. Review M&E design drawings. Coordinate M&E drawings/design/specification approval process. Ensure the safe installation and operation of the Mechanical and Electrical services on site. Liaising with and developing good working relationships with site managers / site personnel. Knowledge generation regarding all technical products including statutory and regulatory developments. On site problem-solving. Qualifications. Mechanical / Electrical/ Building services degree. 3-4 years of relevant experience in a residential construction environment. Previous experience managing the M&E function on a large new build / refurbishment from start to finish would be an advantage. Computer literacy skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and Primavera. Hands on experience on BIM Modelling. H&S awareness.
