Are you an experienced Buyer looking for your next career move? A leading manufacturing company based in Waterford is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their Supply Chain team. As a Buyer you will manage a purchasing budget, lead negotiations with suppliers, ensure product quality levels remain high, ensure deliveries are on time and work to reduce material costs. The role. Identify/procure and control all material requirements. Expedite and control deliveries. Monitor inventory levels for all materials. Manage vendor issues and work with the supplier and cross functional teams to ensure any issues are quickly resolved. Maintain relevant information for each supplier. Work with NPI on the introduction of any materials. Participate in supplier visits and business review meetings for suppliers. The person. 3rd level qualification in procurement / supply chain management. 2+ years' experience in a similar position within a regulated manufacturing environment. Ablility to negotiate, process and lead supplier negotiations. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Interested?
