Our client based in South Kilkenny are looking for a mechanic to join their team. The role involves: Working in a stand alone role in a fully modern and updated garage. Ensuring all vehicle records are kept up to date. Perform diagnostics and fault testing. Performing preventative maintenance checks, services and general maintenance/repairs on Buses etc. Being available for Emergency call-outs. Performing Electronic testing using a variety of equipment as needed. Accurately assessing faults and issues and the best way to remedy any defects. Other related duties as required. The ideal candidate. Will be a trades qualified Mechanic or Plant fitter. Will have experience of working with Buses or HGV's. Will be confident with fault finding and diagnostics. Will be able to work to their own initiative. Salary depends on experience but a competitive package is on offer.
