Are you a Project Engineer looking to progress in your career? A leading Tipperary based manufacturing company currently has a vacancy for a CI / Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer you will work on capital, continuous improvement and maintenance projects relating to equipment and machinery. This company offers great potential for career progression with the opportunity to move into a more senior role if you perform successfully. THE ROLE Project managing all capital, continuous improvement and maintenance projects. Problem solving mechanical / electrical issues. Leading continuous improvement activities and driving a culture of continuous improvements. Performing analysis of key process indicators to identify opportunities for process improvement. Day to day support of the teams and management in their effort to achieve CI / Lean goals. Analysing business processes and identifying project opportunities. Completing process reviews to identify bottlenecks and constraints, identifying and implementing new ways to eliminate. Leading and executing process improvement projects e.g. OEE, lead time reduction and waste elimination. THE PERSON. Degree qualified in an engineering discipline or equivalent. 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within a food, medical device, pharmaceutical, health care or other regulated manufacturing environment. A strong aptitude for technical mechanical and electrical engineering projects relating to equipment / machinery. A proven track record in continuous improvement and project management. Self-directed, excellent communication skills and the ability to work within cross functional teams.
