Wood Machinist. Our client is looking to recruit a Wood Machinist for their well-established business in North Tipperary. This is a Full-time Temporary to Permanent post. Duties & Requirements: • Sorting through timber boards. • Cutting to size of various lengths and thickness' of timber. • Machining timber, using various woodworking machinery including moulders, saws, spindle moulders etc. • Laminating timber sections together. • Sanding timber panels and sizing same. • Controlling stock levels of standard profiles & raw materials for machining. • Changing tooling and maintaining an adequate level of sharp tooling at all times. • Removing all redundant waste from work area. • Forklift operator (training will be provided. • Previous experience in similar role.
